Environmental Planning
Environmental Planning is focused on determining the relationships between planned developments, growth and mitigating the impact on the environment around us. Of primary consideration in planned development are environmental concerns such as Flood Hazards and Watershed Areas, as well other factors such as land cover and land use. The newest responsibility is Greenway Planning, in conjunction with the County’s Parks & Recreation Department.
