Professional Development

Gaston Natural Resources offers professional development opportunities for formal and non-formal educators. Gaston Natural Resources may certify educators in the following environmental education curriculums:

Project WET: Water Education for Teacher Grades Kindergarten through 12.

Project Food, Land, and People Grades Kindergarten through 12.

Leopold Education Project Grades 5 through 12.

Certification programs usually last around 6 hours and may be eligible for CEUs or EE credits. Participants leave with curriculum resources, provided free of charge. Email Erin Hines to schedule a program.
