Draw the Line, Respect the Line is a program for middle school-aged students centered on teaching them how to develop personal limits, improve their ability to communicate boundaries to peers, and learn and practice refusal skills.
This program is a primary prevention program that encourages communication, promotes responsible citizenship, provides comprehensive sex education, and builds self-confidence among participants. In short, we teach students how to draw their line and respect others as well.
In order to evaluate the participants’ changes in knowledge, attitudes, behaviors and beliefs related to delaying sexual initiation, improving contraceptive use, and/or reducing adolescent pregnancy we use an outcome evaluation tool. To view the survey we use, please see the attached PDF below.
