In October of 2022 a letter was distributed in the Chapel Grove community, notifying residents of a planned waterline project to serve Chapel Grove Elementary School and potentially property owners along Chapel Grove Rd.  The County has contracted with an engineering firm, Thomas and Hutton, to provide design and construction administration services during the course of the project.  Currently, the project is in design and an environmental assessment is being completed.

The Public Meeting will begin with a brief presentation of the overall project.  There will be opportunity to ask questions.  After the presentation, there will be a break out session to look at maps where you can specifically see your property and how the project may affect you.  We also intend to provide information to property owners about easement acquisition and how to proceed if there is an opportunity to connect your home or business to the new water service.  As a reminder, it is not a requirement to connect to the waterline.
