[ARCHIVED] Gaston County Police Make Arrest in Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling Case

On October 10th, 2022 at around 2:40 AM, a resident located at 2120 Tryon Courthouse Road, near Bessemer City, NC called Gaston County Communications advising an unknown suspect(s) had shot into their house.  Police responded to the residence and began investigation.  There were several people in the house but no one was injured.

Alexander has been charged with one count of Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Dwelling and one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.  He was arrested on December 12th, 2022 by the United States Marshalls Service Carolina Regional Fugitive Task Force in Hickory, NC.  Alexander is currently incarcerated at the Gaston County Jail under a $60,000 secured bond awaiting trial.
