Gastonia, NC (October 27, 2023,11:30 AM): The Gaston County Police Department has charged George Aviles, 27, with attempted murder following an investigation of an incident that occurred on October 14, 2023.
On Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 4:57 AM, the Gaston County Police responded to 530 Howard Fraley Ln, Dallas in reference to a shooting into an occupied dwelling. Upon arrival, officers located several victims who had been in the residence during the shooting. No one was injured during this incident.
George Aviles, was arrested and transported to the Gaston County Jail by a member of the Gaston County F.A.S.T. Team. Aviles’ charges include Attempted First Degree Murder, three counts of Felony Discharge Weapon into an Occupied Property, four counts of Injury to Personal Property, Felony Probation Violation, and Discharge of a Firearm in the City Limits. He is being held with no bond.
