Raleigh, N.C. – HEYCO-Werk USA Inc., a plastics molder for the automotive industry, will create 34 new jobs in Gaston County, Governor Cooper announced today. The company will invest more than $12.75 million to build a new manufacturing facility in the Apple Creek Corporate Center of Gaston County.
A subsidiary of German-based automotive part manufacturer, HEYCO Group, HEYCO-Werk USA Inc. was established in 2014 and has a manufacturing plant in Virginia since 2019. The company manufactures plastic molding and windshield trimming for BMW and Volkswagon SUVs and other industrial applications. The new site will include a 60,000-square-foot production facility for high-end injection molding and showroom.

The new 10-acre site will include a 65,000-square-foot state of the art production facility & show room for high-end injection molding. The site at Apple Creek Corporate Center in Gaston County offers sufficient room for future expansion. HEYCO benefits from the central location that provides access to major hubs to our specialized supply chains and strong customer base. We are excited to invest in new technologies and to create high-quality manufacturing jobs in Gaston County.”

Salaries will vary by position with an average annual wage of $63,382, which exceeds the Gaston County average of $46,351. These new jobs could potentially create an annual payroll impact of more than $2.1 million for the region.
