[ARCHIVED] Gaston County Police Make Arrest in Overnight Shooting UPDATE

On Tuesday September 13th, 2022 at about 6:21 pm, the Gaston County Police responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Twisted Oak Lane, Gastonia, NC. Upon arrival, first responders located a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim died from his injuries.  The victim has been identified as:

Timothy Howard Davis 
Gastonia, NC  
W/M
DOB- 01/24/1958

The suspect has been identified as:

Bobby Lewis Penny
138 Twisted Oaks Lane
Gastonia, NC 

Mr. Penny has been charged with one count of voluntary manslaughter.  He is currently in the Gaston County Jail under a $100,000.00 secured bond awaiting first appearance.
