Brittany Froning


Brittany Froning joined Gaston County in October 2014 with Child & Family Services. Prior to coming to Gaston County, she served as a Victim Advocate with the Rape Crisis Center of Catawba County, Inc. for 4 years. Brittany has served Gaston County as a Family Assessor, Adoption Social Worker, and Community Navigator and Program Manager of The Cathy Mabry Cloninger Center before transitioning into her current role as Program Manager of Hope United Survivor Network, the county’s family justice center program. Brittany holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human & Community Services from Lenoir-Rhyne University, a Master’s degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University and is clinically licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Brittany was named Gaston County Employee of the Year in 2018 for her work with the Adoptions unit. She is passionate about serving survivors in the community and promoting their healing journey.
