County to Hold Virtual Town Hall Meeting on 2020 Census
GASTON COUNTY, N.C. – Gaston County leaders will hold a virtual town hall meeting on Thursday, June 18 to discuss the 2020 Census. The event will be live streamed on the Gaston County Government Facebook Page beginning at 11:30 a.m.
A group of panelists made up of Census Committee members, County staff, municipal leaders, and others from the community will discuss the importance of the 2020 Census and how it impacts the lives of Gaston County residents.
The panel will also discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the current response rates and what residents can do to help improve these rates to make a difference in the community.
