Gaston County Board of Commissioners Meeting Rescheduled
GASTONIA, N.C. – Due to a potential COVID case and out of an abundance of caution, the Gaston County Board of Commissioners is postponing tonight’s combined work session and regular meeting.
The board plans to hold the meeting virtually next Thursday, Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. More details as to the ways for public to participate in the Citizen Recognition section of the meeting will be announced later this week.
County Manager Dr. Kim Eagle, Clerk of the Board Donna Buff and Board of Commissioners Chair Tom Keigher consulted with Public Health Director Steve Eaton, and made the decision to postpone the meeting Tuesday morning.
“The safety of our citizens and staff is our top priority, which led to our making this decision,” Keigher said.
