Gaston County Manager Named to Charlotte Business Journal 'Women in Business Achievement Award' List
GASTONIA, N.C. – Gaston County Manager Dr. Kim Eagle was named today to the Charlotte Business Journal’s “Women in Business Achievement Award” List.
The list, now in its 25th year, highlights 25 different “female leaders in the Charlotte region who are making a mark in their careers and communities.”
The list includes many other high-profile female business leaders from across the Charlotte region, including Bojangles’ Chief Marketing Officer Jackie Woodward, Iredell County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Jenn Bosser and Red Ventures’ head of Financial Services, Courtney Jeffus.
All 25 of the award winners will be profiled in a CBJ special edition, scheduled to be published on March 19.
“This is a humbling award,” Eagle said. “What it signals to me is that we are making significant strides in promoting Gaston County and I am excited to further this great work. Gaston County is already a key player in this region and will only continue to grow in that regard.”
Eagle was hired as Gaston County’s first female manager in August 2019.
